Govt keen to implement Apex Committee decisions: Bakaya

JAMMU, Sept 25: NC MLC and patron of the Party’s Minority Cell Vijay Bakaya has informed his Party workers that Omar Abdullah led Government is keen in implementing all the decisions taken in the Apex Committee meeting recently.
Addressing the meeting of the Cell here today, Mr Bakaya urged the displaced Pandit community to extend full support to the Government which has best policies for the betterment of the community.
He said the Government needs community’s full support in implementing PM’s employment and rehabilitation package, promotions to migrant employees, release of HRA&CCA, redressal of demands of traders and other problems related to migrants.
He also urged the Party activists not to criticize any organization or any leader. He also assured them that the problems of migrants living in various colonies will be taken by him vigorously and already he has provided funds for installation of transformers, construction of roads and drains, water supply schemes etc in various colonies.
He said two days back a transformer was inaugurated at Sharika Colony Poni Chak for which Rs 8.11 lakh were provided by him from his CDF. Besides, cheques amounting to Rs 1.20 lakh were presented to ailing patients of the community for purchase of medicines.
The meeting was attended by M K Yogi working president of the Cell, P L Talashi, B L Pandita, B K Bhat, Pinky Bhat , S N Dhar and others.000
