Govt luring agri technocrats on fake promises: JKATA

JAMMU, Oct 22: Government is luring agricultural technocrats on fake promises for amending the Cabinet decision.
This was stated by Dr Surinder Radotra, president, Jammu  and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association (JKATA) while addressing agricultural technocrats outside the office of Director of Agriculture at Talab Tillo.
He warned the Government to consider their demands at the earliest, otherwise a crusade will be launched and for any untoward incident, the Government will be responsible.
Dr Radotra demanded that Rehber-e-Zirat, who have served the department for the continuous seven years without single day break should be regularized in one go and should be appointed as Village Agricultural Extension Officer on JAEO pay scale.
Those, who just registered themselves under ReZ scheme and did not join respective zones for services should not be considered for regularization until they fulfill requirements of recent Cabinet decision, he added.
While speaking, Dr Abhimanyu Mahajan, president, district Jammu, urged the Chief Minister to personally intervene in the matter so as to save the future of ReZ and their family.
