Govt misleading on enhancement of relief, PM’s package: KPs

JAMMU, Jan 28: All Displaced Youth Forum of Kashmiri for Rights and Justice today accused the State Government of playing with the sentiments of Kashmiri migrants and alleged that the issues confronted to community could have been solved much earlier but are being deliberately delayed due to callousness of those at the helm of affairs.
“We will expose the duel face of the Government’’ said Sanjay Koul while talking to media persons along with H L Chatta, president ASKPC, Kundan Kashmiri, president KPC and Veer Saraf convener RIK J&K.
Koul said the ideological differences among the coalition partners and redtapism are the main hurdles in settling the issues confronted to displaced people from Valley.
He aid the much hyped employment package for displaced unemployed youth is being delayed unnecessarily. Initially appointment orders were issued for 1400 youth against the sanctioned posts of 6000. For filling the remaining posts the matter is pending, he added.
He demanded that the process should be completed before March 2013 otherwise more youth will cross prescribed age bar and will be deprived of the employment opportunities.
Criticizing the Government for its failure in enhancing the cash relief said Veer Saraf. He said that Government misled the public while making a statement in last year that the matter regarding enhancement of cash relief was referred to Government of India which has suggested that the proposal be cleared from State Cabinet.
