Govt must fulfil promises before restoring democratic process: Shiv Sena

JAMMU, Aug 17: Shiv Sena (Bala Saheb Thackeray) Jammu and Kashmir unit demanded that the Central Government must fulfil the promises including political justice, full statehood and restoration of peace in Kashmir valley before heading for Assembly election.
It was stated by Manish Sahni, president of J&K unit during a press conference, here today.
Sahni further said that in order to initiate the democratic process first and foremost there is a dire need to establish complete peace in the Kashmir valley besides justice needs to be done with Jammu region by providing adequate number of Assembly seats and thereafter restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Sahni appointed Raj Singh as unit secretary and president Kamgar Wing Jammu Province while Sanjeev Soodan was appointed as vice president of the unit.
