JAMMU, May 4: The Jammu & Kashmir Administration led by LG Manoj Sinha must ensure that the illegally occupied lands of distressed Kashmiri migrants are freed from the opportunist encroachers in a time bound manner, stated Sham Lal Sharma, J&K BJP vice-president and former Minister.
“The Modi Government has the prime intention to provide healing touch to the distressed people and communities especially Kashmiri migrants who are internally displaced in their own country and have faced much suffering since the holocaust. LG Administration has already taken many steps to provide them the required relief. LG administration must take further strong notice of why there is delay to ensure release of encroached migrants’ lands in a time bound manner”, said Sham Lal Sharma.
Sham Lal Sharma took strong notice of the issues by a deputation of Kashmiri migrants composed mainly from Shopian, Anantnag and other places. Kashmiri migrants’ deputation expressed their displeasure over the manner in which the departments are using a dilly dallying approach in processing their requests regarding their lands even after orders from the LG Administration.
Accompanied by BJP Library in charge Kulbhushan Mohtra, and Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan in charge, Dil Bahadur Jamwal, Sham Lal Sharma was listening to the grievances of a large number of people belonging to different areas of Jammu & Kashmir at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

They narrated their woes and sought kind intervention of the party leaders to get their problems solved like improper and delayed repair of streetlights, repair of drinking water supply pipes, old age pension, revenue and many others.
Sham Lal Sharma gave patient hearings to the problems presented by the people, which were immediately taken up with the concerned officials of the departments stressing for early resolution so that the people are not made to suffer.
