JAMMU, Sept 18: President, Pardesh Mahila Congress, Indu Pawar, today said that of un-employment amongst youth, price rise of essential goods, providing equal opportunities of development to rural and urban areas and security are the main issues of our State but present Government at Centre and the State are not showing seriousness in solving these.
Chaired a meeting of Mahila Congress workers of village Darani in city outskirts, she said BJP had promised to waive off loans of farmers but instead they are helping big industrialists by waving their loans.
“Welfare schemes are limited and there are no ways to create jobs for youth”, she said, adding, BJP played only the communal card to secure votes and cheated the masses after coming to power.
Indu said that in these conditions Congress has always withstood all the tests and people have great expectations from the Congress and such meetings are essential to remain connected with base level workers, as these will help us understanding the issues of common masses and also finding their solutions.
She asked the workers to continue the process of conducting such meetings in urban and rural areas. Others who spoke on the occasion were Sushma Devi, Rama Devi, Sheelo Devi and Mamta Devi.
