JAMMU, Aug 13: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha (KKHMS) under the leadership of its chairman Ramesh Chander Mahajan expressed serious concern over the non seriousness of Union Government and LG administration towards settling the genuine demands of Kashmiri migrants and delayed initiatives for constituting the Committee by General Administration Department (GAD) for issuance of transfer orders in favour of suffering of PMs package employees from Kashmiri Valley to Jammu and attaching them with the Relief Organization (M) Jammu.
The Sabha, while highlighting their issues demanded that these employees be shifted outside the valley till security scenario improves in Kashmir. He also demanded that the Government should resume talks with striking Package employees who are on protest for last 93 days.
He further appealed to Government and sought necessary instructions to all the departments not to pressurize migrant employees to resume their duties in prevailing situation in Kashmir valley and not to withheld their salaries unnecessarily.
