It is the gravest situation in front of India and this pandemic have already led to enormous amount of human suffering and it will continue to multiply until the Government would reach out collectively to the experienced scholars, former Health ministers, former health secretaries, prominent economists, opposition leaders and other experience holders who are having some knowledge in the above context, he added.

He said opposition has always played a role in country, without opposition country can not be considered as democratic. Thus, it becomes the duty of opposition even at local levels to help and support in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.

On the contrary, government has shown reluctance to learn lessons from the history. In these troubled times, government should promote trust and solidarity among the citizens.
