JAMMU : The State Government tonight announced that Government offices, particularly civil secretariat and State legislature, will close its operation in Jammu on April 25 and reopen in Srinagar on May 5.
According to a Government order issued by General Administration Department (GAD) here, Government offices observing five-day week shall close in the winter capital Jammu on April 25, while offices observing six-day week will close on April 26.
All these offices will reopen at Srinagar on May 5.
State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) has been asked to make available sufficient number of buses in good condition for transportation of Kashmir-based employees on April 26 and 27 and Jammu-based employees on May 3 and 4. SRTC will also make available trucks for shifting the records from Srinagar to Jammu. (AGENCIES)
