JAMMU, Jan 18: Government officials across Jammu and Kashmir are actively participating in the transformative Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra to aware people about different Government schemes, showcasing a commitment to the national development.
In Kathua District, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Forest, Ecology and Environment, Dheeraj Gupta, led the Yatra and conducted a mega public darbar at Municipal Committee Lakhanpur, emphasizing collective efforts for India’s transformation by 2047.
Stakeholders, including Chairman District Development Council Kathua, Retired Colonel Mahan Singh, and various officials, participated in the event, highlighting the pillars of national development: infrastructure revamping, human resource development, and social unity.
A mega VBSY event was organized in Kupwara District, chaired by DG C&WDD J&K, Mir Tariq Ali.
The event aimed to raise awareness about Government-sponsored schemes, ensuring outreach to remote areas for community engagement.
The DG C&WDD emphasized the Yatra’s goal to bring together government officers, local leaders, and communities, ensuring the last-mile delivery of developmental initiatives to all.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra showcased dynamic progress in Anantnag and Dachnipora blocks of Anantnag District, with active participation in Block Srigufwara.
The Yatra’s transformative journey covered various Gram Panchayats, reflecting a surge in community engagement and commitment to regional advancement. On-ground services facilitated direct engagement, reaching even the most remote corners, emphasizing the importance of welfare schemes.
In Rajouri and Sunderbani, the Yatra strategically traversed panchayats, becoming a driving force for comprehensive development, extending its reach to underserved areas.
The initiative aims to transform Rajouri by ensuring effective execution of Government programs, enhancing the quality of life for residents.
Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary spearheaded the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Ramban District, witnessing a significant impact with 92,000 participants, including 35,000 women.
The Yatra emphasized inclusivity, reaching Panchayats and wards, informing people about various government schemes. Beneficiaries shared stories under “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,” highlighting positive changes in their lives.
In Pulwama District, the Yatra reached all 190 Panchayats, 69 Municipal Wards, and villages, disseminating vital information about government schemes.
The groundbreaking initiative ensures equitable distribution of benefits, with a focus on saturating Government schemes and fostering monumental change.
Micro-level engagement in five villages showcased the Yatra’s dedication to delivering the Prime Minister’s message effectively.
