JAMMU, Dec 21: Health and Medical Education Department today ordered change in working days and duty timing in Government Medical Colleges and Government Dental Colleges of J&K.
As per the order, working days from December 1 to February 28/29 in GMCs and Government Dental Colleges of J&K shall be from Monday to Saturday while the timing shall be from 10 AM to 4:30 PM on all these days.
Change in working days and duty timing has been ordered in partial modification to earlier Government order, dated 03-04-2024, according to which the duty timing was from 9 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Friday (half an hour lunch from 1:30 PM to 2 PM) and 9 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturday.
