Govt orders initiation of RDA against retired doctors

Srinagar, May 18: The Government today ordered the initiation of RDA against 4 individuals out of which 3 are doctors and others while appointing the Director, Health Services Kashmir Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather as the inquiry officer.
The RDA has been initiated against Abdul Rashid Matoo (retired), Nazir Ahmad Malik, Dr Reiz Afsar Hussain (retired), Dr Siraj-Ud-Din (retired) and Dr Bashir Ahmad Janwari who earlier remained posted as Medical Superintendents JLNM Hospital Rainawari, Srinagar.
“In continuation to Government Order No. 80-JK(HME) of 2022 dated 11.02.2022, the sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, I/C Director, Health Services, Kashmir as Inquiry Officer to enquire into the charges levelled against the delinquent officers namely Dr Nazir Ahmad Malik, the then Medical Superintendent, JLNM Hospital Rainawari, Srinagar,” an order issued here reads.
Further, it has been ordered that the inquiry officer shall submit his report along with specific recommendations within a period of one month.
