JAMMU, Dec 1: Taking cognizance of some complaints, Government today ordered transfer of Manoj Prabhakar, Deputy Controller, Consumer Protection Jammu and inquiry against him.
Two separate orders in this regard were issued today by the Department of Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
According to one of the orders, Manoj Prabhakar, Deputy Controller, Consumer Protection, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Controller, S S Lab/Taxi Meter, Kashmir, relieving Nazir Ahmad Dar, Assistant Controller, of the additional charge.
“It is hereby ordered that Controller, Legal Metrology Department, J&K, shall conduct an inquiry into the complaints received against Manoj Prabhakar, under orders of transfer as Deputy Controller S S Lab/Taxi Meter, Kashmir, during his posting as Deputy Controller, Consumer Protection, Jammu,” reads the other order, adding that the Controller shall submit the report within a period of one month to the department.
