JAMMU, Jan 22: The State Government today constituted an Inquiry Committee to ascertain the reasons for failure of 132KV Transmission Towers in Poonch and Rajouri areas during the third week of this month due to snowfall and wind.
The inquiry committee, with Chief Engineer Commercial & Survey, J&K, Vinod Khajuria as chairman, besides SE PWD (R&B) Leh Alok Mengi and Director Financial Organization PDD Srinagar, Azad Ahmed Wani as members, shall submit the report within a period of three weeks from the date of issuance of the order.
