Govt orders verification into service records of JKCL employees

JAMMU, Sept 6: Department of Industries and Commerce, J&K Government, has ordered verification into the service records of all the employees of J&K Cement Limited, besides fresh inquiry into fraudulent preparation of Service Book and LPC of Tufail Ahmad, Office Assistant (Token Number 1338), an employee of JKCL, presently attached with the Administrative Department.
According to an order, a committee has been constituted to conduct fresh inquiry in the case of Tufail Ahmad and verification of service records of the other employees.
Headed by Director Finance, Industries & Commerce Dept, the committee comprises Joint Director, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Kashmir; MD, J&K Cement Limited; Dy Secretary (N), Industries & Commerce Dept; Senior Law Officer, Industries & Commerce and Under Secy (S), Industries & Commerce dept as the members.
In the case of Tufail Ahmad, the committee shall submit its report along with specific recommendations within 15 days. Further, the committee shall also conduct verification of the service records of all the employees of J&K Cement Limited afterwards and submit report within next one month after submitting the report in case of Tufail Ahmad.
