JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed 122 retired officials in the state in various departments and ministries since 2009, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said today.
98 officials were re-engaged and re-employed after their retirement on superannuation, he told the state Assembly in reply to a question of Abdul Rehman Veeri (PDP).
24 retired officers have also been reappointed as staff attached to ministers of state, he said. (agencies)
