Govt recalls 5 JKAS officers, orders deputation of 8 others to Ladakh

JAMMU, Mar 11: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today ordered recalling of its five JKAS officers from the Union Territory of Ladakh and placed services of eight other officers (Time Scale) at the disposal of the UT Ladakh, on deputation basis.
According to an order in this regard, Manu Hansa, Nasir Mahmood Khan, Chand Singh, Jaffar Hussain Sheikh and Ashwani Hansa shall join in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir after being properly relieved by the competent authority in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Consequent upon this, the service of eight Time Scale Officers of JKAS have been placed at the disposal of the UT of Ladakh, on deputation basis for a period of two years or till they are recalled.
These officers, namely Mukhtar Ahmad (awaiting orders of adjustment in GAD), Musharraf Ali Haf (BDO Gundana), Muzaffer Hussain Wani (BDO Kulgam), Abdul Majid (ALC Shopian), Shakeel Ahmed (DSWO, Poonch), Tariq Ahmad Malik (BDO Larnoo), Manoj Kumar (BDO, Trigam) and Mohd Hanief (BDO Balakote) shall be deemed to have been relieved with immediate effect with the direction to report to GAD Ladakh, for further posting.
