JAMMU, Sept 25: The Governor’s administration has re-constituted the High-Level Committee to address all the issues relating to the establishment of All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Awantipora in Pulwama and Vijaypur in Samba besides five new Medical Colleges in the State.
According to the order, issued in this regard by GAD, the Committee will be headed by the Administrative Secretary, Health & Medical Education Department. The members of the Committee are Administrative Secretaries of Home, Finance, Planning, Forest, PDD, Revenue, PWD (R&B), PHE, I&FC Departments, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir/ Jammu and Project Director, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) Jammu/Srinagar.
Joint Director (P&S), Health & Medical Education Department is Member Secretary of the Committee.
