Govt reconstitutes logistic coordination committee

JAMMU, July 10: Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered reconstitution of Logistic Coordination Committee for the integrated development of logistic sector in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per an order, the new committee shall be headed by Administrative Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, while as Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, Divisional Commissioners of Jammu and Kashmir, Director General (Codes), Finance Department, Directors of Industries and Commerce Department in Jammu and Kashmir, representative of Agriculture Production Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary), representative of Public Works Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary), and representative of Logistic Division of Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, shall be the members of the committee.
The prime objective of the reconstituted committee that would be serviced by the Industries and Commerce Department would be integrated development of logistic sector in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
