JAMMU, Nov 7: The Government today released four percent Dearness Allowance (DA) installment in favour of its employees, pensioners and family pensioners.
An order issued by the Finance Department said the DA has been enhanced from existing rate of 34 percent to 38 percent.
Increase in DA will have effect from July 1, 2022.
“Arrears on account of additional installment of DA with effect from July, 2022 shall be paid in cash in two equal installment including one in the month of November and another in December this year. It will form part of salary from November onwards,” the order read.
