Govt relieves Narula, Kumar

JAMMU, Apr 14: The State Government has placed services of two senior IAS officers—Umang Narula and Suresh Kumar at the disposal of the Government of India following their postings in the Centre.
An official order said services of Umang Narula, an IAS officer of 1989 batch and Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), J&K, have been placed at the disposal of the Government of India on his appointment as Chairman and Managing Director of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Ministry of Tourism.
Raman Kumar Kesar, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer and Additional Secretary to the Government, Election Department, will look after the routine work of the CEO till the post is filled up in consultations with the Election Commission of India.
Services of Suresh Kumar, Director General, Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development, have also been placed at the disposal of the Centre upon his posting as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence.
The Government has ordered that Mohammad Ashraf Bukhari, Commissioner/ecretary, General Administration Department will hold the charge of DG IMPA in addition to his own duties till further orders.
The Government has also relieved Ms Kritika Batra, IAS probationer, presently undergoing District Training in Udhampur, on her inter-cadre transfer to Andhra Pradesh.
