DODA, Apr 10: A Government school building is in shambles since long due to apathy of the School Education Department.
As per reports, the building of Government Middle School Draman in Education Zone Batyas in Sub Division Thathri is in shambles due to apathy of School Education Department.
A local resident and social activist Babar Nafice said that the Education Department as well as the District Administration are acting as mute spectators as they failed in renovating the building due to which the studies of the students have been hit hard.
He said that the students have been forced to study under open sky.
“I appraised the authorities about the condition of the school but to no avail”, he said.
The locals said that they informed the administration as well as the Education Department officials several times about the condition of the school building, but they took no steps to get it renovated.
They again appealed to the concerned authorities to get the school building repaired as soon as possible so that students can continue their education.
