DODA, Apr 16: The Govt Primary School Haddal Paien in Tehsil Chilly Pingal falling in Zone Batyas of district Doda is in shambles for the last many years.
The concerned Education Department has totally failed to take cognizance of the matter and 38 students of this institute are left to continue their education in the unsafe school building without any playground, toilet and other vital infrastructure.
A local Ch. Zakir Hussian informed that there is no safe room in the school and the students are made to sit in the open under the sun while during rains, the school remains closed.
He also said that Education Department as well as the District Administration are acting as mute spectators and have failed in renovating the school building which has been badly affected the education of the students.
Locals have urged the senior officers of Education Department and DC Doda to visit the school and get it properly repair without delay.
