MENDHAR, May 30: A Govt High School was found locked during school hours in Harni area of Poonch when Dy Chief Education Officer, today paid surprise visit to several schools.
An official spokesman said that Dy CEO Poonch Mohd Azam during visit to Govt High School, Sonia Simbla (Harni) found this school locked at 1.20 pm. The school timing is from 8 am to 2 pm. The officer charge- sheeted Head Master and all the staff and sought their explanation. Their salary has also been with held. At Govt Middle School Nakka Chotian Walla, the Dy CEO found a teacher Zahid Ahmed Khan attached to ZEO office for the last two years. He detached the teacher with immediate effect as the students were suffering for want of staff.
