JAMMU, Aug 10: The Home Department today constituted six members Committee headed by Dr Shesh Pal Vaid, Additional DGP (Headquarters) as Chairman to make recommendations to the Home Department for finalizing seniority of DySPs and issuing the order by August 31 this year.
An order for constitution of the Committee was issued today by the Principal Secretary, Home Department, RK Goyal.
With Dr Vaid as Chairman, five other members of the Committee comprised Yogender Kaul, IGP, Indian Reserve Police, Jammu, Arshad Ayub, Special Secretary, Home, Gowhar Hussain, Joint Director, Prosecution, Tahir Sajad Bhat, AIG (Personnel), Police Headquarters and Mushtaq Ahmad, Deputy Secretary, Home.
Mushtaq Ahmad will serve as convenor of the Panel.
The Principal Secretary, Home Department and Director General of Police (DGP) RK Goyal will personally monitor the process to ensure its completion by August 31, the official order said.
