SRINAGAR, June 3: Govern-ment today said it supports the demand for providing alternate road connectivity to Chenab valley with Kashmir province by way of construction of a tunnel on Singhpora- Vailoo road.
In a written reply to the question of MLA G M Saroori in Lower House, Minister Incharge said the Fovernment supports the demand of construction of a tunnel on Singhpora- Vailoo road.
“Finance Department Vide Govt order No 238-F of 2015 date 08-12215 has initiated to undertake various projects under PPP mode. The department is in the process of recommending a few selected projects to Finance Department in the matter include the tunnel project on Singhpora -Vailoo road,” the Minister said.
