JAMMU, May 29: A meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Governments Teachers’ Forum (JKGTF) was held under the chairmanship of Jammu District president Vijay Kumar and vice president Niranjan Sharma for discussing various burning issues of the department.
The meet requested the Director School Education Jammu to release the pending salary of teachers under SSA and RMSA and also appealed the Education Minister to look into the matter personally for taking an appropriate in this regard.
In the meeting, issues related to the DPC of 4th class, Lab. Assistants, Teachers, Masters, Lecturers were also discussed.
Urging the CEO Jammu and Director School Education to avoid zero distance transfers, the Forum stressed that there should be a transparency in the transfer policy. Teacher, Master, Lecturer working in far flung areas, should be repatriated to the schools nearby home, the Forum added.
