Kathua, Dec 4: BJP State General Secretary and MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia has said the present government is committed to bring an era of peace and development in the State to make it a model State in the country.
MLA was addressing public gathering during inauguration of development work at Village Kharote including road black topping from NH to Kharote Village Length 5 km at the Cost of 1.16 crore, development of Pond (talab) at the cost 20 lacs and Construction of Club at Village Jagatpur at the cost of 5 lacs.
Jasrotia said that ever since the government took over it has been its endeavor to accelerate the pace of the developmental works in nook and corner of the State, so that the people get the requisite and necessary facilities. He said the several schemes have also been launched, which would ensure that the socio-economic profile of the people living in rural and far-flung areas get the requisite boost besides providing the much needed employment opportunities to them.
While referring to the challenge of unemployment he said the government has formulated comprehensive policy for youth which would ensure that they are provided job avenues. Govt want to channelize the creative energies of youth in a proper manner so that they can contribute their bit in nation building”, he maintained.Referring to the new developmental initiatives, he said that various projects would be undertaken soon including the national highway which would besides providing good road connectivity to the people of the area also ensure job opportunities to the local youth.
“The Government would also initiate projects in other sectors like health, PDD, R&B, H&UDD so that the State comes up at par with other developed states of the country. This would also ensure in creating necessary job avenues for the youth besides alleviating the socio-economic profile of the people”, he added.MLA while addressing the people said that efforts are being made to ensure that roads, power and drinking water reach the public every nook and corner of the State.
