NEW DELHI : The government will study the Seventh Central Pay Commission report in the right perspective and only then it will be processed further, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said here today.
“There are certain procedures which are followed after submission of report. The government will study the report in right perspective and only then it will be processed further,” Singh, Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office and for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension said during an interaction with media persons at his residence here.
The Seventh Central Pay Commission had on Thursday submitted its report to the government in which it has recommended a 23.55 per cent hike in salary, allowances and pension to central government employees and pensioners.
There are about 47 lakh central government employees and 52 lakh pensioners. (PTI)
