Govt urged to release salary of College teachers

JAMMU, Feb 12: J&K College Teachers Association, Jammu wing, has expressed serious concern over delay in release of salary of the college teachers under plan posts.
An emergency meeting of the Association was held today under the chairmanship of Dr Sanjay Verma, president CTA for discussing the issue.
Expressing its strong resentment over delay in release of the salary, the CTA appealed the Government to redress the problem as soon as possible and mitigate the hardships being faced by the fraternity. The meet also suggested that the higher authorities should devise a mechanism so that the plan grants are made available well in time.
The meeting was attended by Prof M S Saini, Dr Satinder Kour, Prof D S Manhas, Dr Anil Ganjoo, Dr Sunil Gupta, Prof Narayan Dutt, Prof Hans Raj, Prof Surender, Prof Vishal Sharma and Prof Ranjodh Jamwal.
