POONCH, Aug 28: Member Legislative Council (MLC) from National Conference, Dr Shehnaz Ganai has said that State Government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was working hard to tackle the issue of unemployment and ensure better development in all the areas.
Addressing public meetings at Slamabad and Shahpur in Poonch today, the NC legislator appreciated the efforts of the Government in taking various initiatives for creation of employment opportunities in Government and private sector, by way of constitution of J&K Skill Development Mission and said that this step will definitely increase the employability of the skilled youth.
She said it has been the agenda of the Government to ensure that last man in the row is provided basic and essential services like healthcare, safe drinking water, road connectivity, road connectivity, quality education and other services at the doorsteps. Dr Ganai said Coalition Government has proved that public is the king as every policy of the Government revolves around public. This is the era of development and good governance. Even for the development and empowerment of women the Government has taken bold steps.
Dr Ganai claimed that being local she was well aware of the problems of the people. She said over 95 percent population of Poonch resides in rural belt. She said people have high expectations from her and she would try her best to come up to the expectations of the public.
