Govt’s ”Bhrashtachar Mukt” campaign

Sir,
The Jammu & Kashmir Government’s “BhrashtacharMukt” campaign has emerged as a beacon of hope in the ongoing battle against corruption and a testament to the commitment of the Government towards transparent and accountable governance.
The campaign, spanning a week and encompassing all 20 districts of the Union Territory, has garnered an overwhelmingly positive response from the public.
One of the standout features of this campaign is the establishment of special counters at the district, tehsil, and block levels, providing accessible platforms for citizens to voice their concerns regarding corruption-related issues.
The Government has demonstrated its dedication to addressing these grievances on an overriding priority basis. All complaints received during the campaign receive immediate attention from the relevant departments. If a resolution cannot be achieved within the week, a definite timeline for resolution is provided, enhancing accountability.
To bolster transparency, the Information Technology Department has collaborated with relevant departments to create “Feedback Forms” for proper documentation of grievances and complaints. Even feedback on services covered by the Public Service Guarantee Act is meticulously recorded, contributing to a more transparent governance system.

The “Bhrashtachar Mukt” campaign in Jammu & Kashmir stands as a commendable effort by the Government. Its comprehensive approach, combining administrative measures and community engagement, has struck a chord with the people. As it gains momentum, the campaign holds the promise of fostering a more transparent, accountable, and corruption-free governance system for the Union Territory, ultimately benefiting its citizens.
