JAMMU, June 29: All J&K Graduate Engineers Association (Civil) in a meeting here today decided to support Joint Action Committee of Graduate Engineers Association for demands of engineers by joining protests.
Engineers in the meeting said protests will be organized at all district headquarters followed by sending the memorandum through DDCs to the Governor and his Advisors, Chief Secretary and concerned Administrative Secretaries.
In a handout the engineers listed their demands as inclusion of running grades, regularisation of services of engineers at all levels and restoration of entry grade of junior engineers.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Mujib Tak, State Chief Patron of Association; Z.A Malik, Sr. Vice president; Gopal Sharma, Rahat Gupta and others.
