JAMMU, Sept 12: A 17-year old existing business relationship between J&K Grameen Bank & Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd. has further been strengthened with the singing of fresh MoU between the both here today.
A simple gathering was held at bank’s head office to renew the existing tie-up which was attended by higher officials of both entities. Relationship between BAGICL & JKGB dates back to 2003 & since has grown stronger with each passing year. Both partners renewed their commitment to further take this relationship to newer heights.
Janak Raj Angural, Chairman, J&K Grameen Bank being chief guest on the occasion said that tie-up with Bajaj Allianz has benefitted the Bank as well as its customers immensely. He said both parties are very keen to offer best of customer services.
Aijaz Khan, Banca Channel Head, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd., while speaking on the occasion said that the Insurance is a social obligation & Company will continue to provide customized insurance solutions to the clients of JKGB & use the intensive branch network of the bank to penetrate the remotest areas of J&K.
DK Bali, General Manager, J&K Grameen Bank, said that since this association is very old and has been fruitful for the Bank, insurer as well as customers so every possible step must be undertaken to provide a hassle-free & seamless service to the tie-up clientele.
Devi Dayal Gupta, Chief (AI&V Section), Grameen Bank said that service delivery systems shall be made more efficient & robust through use of latest technology. Ajay Bharti, HoD (FIID), of the Bank said that emphasis must be laid upon providing customer service that is a notch above of that provided by other market players so as to remain invincible in the market.
