JAMMU, Oct 16: J&K Grameen Bank organised Credit cum Awareness programme at branch offices Pallanwala and Khour.
The programme was inaugurated by SS Billawria, General Manager, J&K Grameen Bank, who was the chief guest on the occasion.
While speaking, Billawria highlighted the initiatives taken by the Bank for credit dispensation in diversified activities for the purpose of setting up economic units to augment the income of the families and for over all development of the rural people through institutional credit.
He also highlighted the policies, products and programmes of the Bank for facilitating financial inclusion programme.
Earlier, RP Sharma, Senior Manager, Microfinance and Financial Inclusion apprised the gathering about the various lending schemes of the Bank for providing credit to agriculturists, business community, transporters, etc.
Among others present were HS Sambyal, Area Manager, RS Sumbria, Branch Manager, Khour, representatives from Agriculture Department and other allied departments.
