JAMMU, Mar 30: The inhabitants of Purmandal and its surrounding villages under the banner of Grameen Sangarsh Samiti Purmandal held a demonstration at Purmandal today to protest against the functioning of all block level officers outside Purmandal block near National Highway.
They also submitted a memorandum to Naib Tehsildar saying that though the block was constituted 50 to 60 years back but no offices of the block function at Purmandal.
The protestors said that ZEO office is functioning at Kunjwani in Jammu district by which the people are put to many hardships. They said the block level offices like BDO, DPO and ZEO are not functioning at Purmandal.
