JAMMU, Feb 17: A grand ‘Gurmat Samagam’ in the loving memory of Sant Gurbaksh Singh Ji Dana is being organized by Sant Pura Danna Charitable Trust on Sunday (19th February) at Gurudwara Sri Guru Arjan Dev ji, Akhnoor Road, Domana, from 10 AM to 4 PM, under the patronage of Sant Tejwant Singh Ji , Head Dera Sant Pura Danna.
Talking to media persons, Balvinder Singh (spokesperson, Sant Pura Danna Charitable Trust) along with organizing committee members–Manjit Singh, TP Singh, Inder Singh (Corporator), Rajinder Singh Wazir, Surinder Singh, Jatinder Singh Lucky, Piara Singh, Randhir Singh (member, DGPC Reasi) and Amrik Singh said that besides various prominent local Ragi Jathas and Parcharaks some prominent Ragis and religious preachers from outside J&K shall also grace the occasion.
Balvinder Singh said that prominent among the Ragis/religious preachers are Giani Jagtar Singh Ji (Head Granthi Sri Sahib), Ragi Jatha Gurpreet Singh from Jallandhar and Gurnam Singh from Delhi, Jagtar Singh Hazuri Ragi Darbar Sahib, Parcharak Harpinder Pal Singh (Incharge, Dharam Parchar, SGPC Amritsar).
He informed that the Programme is being organized with the cooperation of various organizations especially Joginder Singh Bali and Updesh Kour Bali (from Hong Kong), Baldev Singh (CEO Peaks Auto Limited), Advocate Surinder Kour, Bhagri Pareivar (Canada), Jeet Singh, District Gurudwara Parbandhak Committees of Jammu Division, Sikh Noujwan Sabha, Istri Satsang Sabhas, Gurudwara Management Committee Gurudwara Sant Pura Danna, Nanak Nagar Jammu, Management Committee Gurudwara Guru Arjun Dev Ji Domana and Sarab Sikh Sangat of J&K, Management Committee, SGSD International School Domana.
All those present in the press conference appealed the people of Jammu, particularly the Sikh Sangat to participate in the Gurmat Samagam and seek blessings of Akal Purkh Wahe Guru as to and fro free transport facility is available from different locations of Jammu, Kathua and Udhampur.
