POONCH, July 7: A grand religious function was organized at the place of Sant Bhai Bahadur Singh near Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point today.
It was part of 15th Annual `Gurmat Samagam’ which concluded today. A large number of devotees attended the programme while senior officers from the District Administration including DC and SP Poonch besides MLA Aijaz Jan and MLCs Jahangir Mir, Yash Pal and Dr Shehnaz Ganai also participated. The Army unit accorded full cooperation in the smooth conduct of this religious programme of Sikh community. `Ragis’ and priests had come from Darbar Sahib Amritsar, Fatehgarh Sahib Sarhind (Pb) and Hyderabad to attend this programme which had commenced on May 26 this year.
