JAMMU, Mar 2: In connection with celebration of 645th Prakashutsav of Shri Guru Ravidass Ji Maharaj, a grand Sant Sammelan was organized today by Shri Guru Ravidass SS Trust (J&K) at Shri Guru Ravidass Sukhsagar Bhawan, Sikanderpur Kothey, Jammu, under the aegis of Shri Shri 108 Sant Gurdip Giri Ji Maharaj.
Thousands of devotees drawn from different areas of Jammu took part in this Sant Sammelan. Shri Shri 108 Sant Gurdip Giri Ji Maharaj delivered spiritual sermon and advised the sangat to shun path of violence, social evils and to follow the path described by Satguru Ravidass Ji Maharaaj.
A medical camp was also organized there in which free check-up and free distribution of medicines was done. Thereafter, students with meritorious performance in their academics along with persons that attained high level positions in various fields were honoured by Shri Shri 108 Sant Gurdip Giri Ji Maharaj. Guru Ka Langar was also distributed among the sangat.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were CL Banal (chairman, Shri Guru Ravidass SS Trust), Natha Ram Angural, Kesar Singh, Dr DD Shivgotra, Capt Manohar Lal, B R Chadgal, Mulkh Raj, K L Thapa, Raj Kumar, Capt Tarsem Lal, Sham Lal Kundal, Parshotam Thapa, Ram Singh, Ashok Kumar and Raman Attri.
