Grass root level activists deserve credit for victory: Narinder Singh

JAMMU, Oct 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has achieved a historic victory in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections and it is indeed a big achievement of the party.
This was stated by Jammu and Kashmir BJP senior leader and State office secretary, Tilak Raj Gupta while addressing a party programme held in honour of national secretary and newly elected MLA from Jammu South, Dr Narinder Singh at party Headquarters on Wednesday.
Addressing the programme Dr Narinder Singh complimented the party men for their dedication and team spirit during campaigning which gave BJP a historic victory in Jammu region.
He said these are not only candidates who emerged victorious deserve credit but entire team of party from grass root level has made their best efforts in making the party victorious in Jammu region.
Dr Singh said that he will come up to the expectations of the people of his constituency and strive hard to strengthen nationalist forces in the UT.
Tilak Raj Gupta said that the splendid victory is the reflective of BJP’s growing popularity among the people in the U. T.
With voters turning out in large numbers in every part of the region, the BJP’s success underscores the party’s expanding appeal and its continued efforts to foster development, integration, and stability in the region, he said.
Gupta further said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have voted for peace, development, and progress. The massive support to the party is a mandate for the policies which were framed for the welfare and development over the past few years.
He said that the credit for the splendid victory also goes to the concrete efforts of the party activists, who reached at the doorsteps of the people to make them aware about various welfare schemes and mega projects of development.
