UDHAMPUR, May 15: Nearly 50 logs of green felled trees were seized by a team of Forest Protection Force men from Krimochi- Mansar area today.
Reports said a team of FPF led by Dy Director FPF Swaroop Chander and assisted by Inspectors Sudesh Verma and Jogeet Bakshi conducted a raid in Mansar area near bridge on Pancheri road and found a dump of fire wood logs kept there for immediate transportation. While the owner of the wood managed to escape and team seized the timber/ fire wood logs and removed to their Unit office. The Forest (T) department has taken cognizance of the matter. It has been learnt that the trees had been felled from the nearby forest area.
