Grenade attack on police station, CASO launched in Pulwama

SRINAGAR: Militants hurled a hand grenade at a police station in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday, official sources said.

They said security guards fired in the air when militants hurled a hand grenade at a police station this evening.

However, the grenade exploded without causing any damage, they said. Panic gripped the area as explosion could be heard in the entire town.

Security forces and State police personnel immediately launched a massive search operation to nab the militants responsible for the attack. (AGENCIES)
