Grenade lobbed by suspected militants on security forces fails to explode in Pulwama

SRINAGAR: Suspected militants on Tuesday hurled a grenade towards a CRPF deployment in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, which did not explode.
Official sources said that suspected militants lobbed a grenade at CRPF jawans deployed near Pulwama Post office on Tuesday. ”Fortunately, the grenade didn’t explode,” they said, adding the militants managed to escape from the spot.
They said a bomb disposal squad was called to defuse the grenade, adding a search operation has been launched to nab the attackers. (AGENCIES)
