JAMMU, Oct 20: Four days Group Art Exhibition organized by Kesar Art Circle to commemorate its 43rd Anniversary concluded today at Sansar Chand Gallery, Kala Kendra, here today.
On the valedictory function, Advisor to the Governor BB Vyas was the chief guest, who while speaking complimented the artists for their paintings. He also had glimpses of the paintings made by the budding artists.
Bhushan Kesar, Artist-cum-Art Educator, participating artists and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
The exhibition was organized to encourage the budding artists of Jammu in the field of painting. The paintings of around 23 budding artists were displayed during the exhibition, which were highly appreciated by the visitors.
Earlier, the exhibition was inaugurated by chief guest Prof Manoj K Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu in presence of Padamshree awardee Rajendra Tikku, who was the guest of honour. The special guest on the opening ceremony was Prof Satnam Kour.
During four days exhibition, huge number of people visited the Sansar Chand Gallery at Kala Kendra to witness the paintings by the budding artists.
