JAMMU, Apr 24: The Government Railway Police (GRP) Jammu today organized a medical check -up camp in the GRP Lines.
Basic health check up of the officers, non-Gazetted officers and other staff including Special Police Officers (SPOs) was conducted in a phased manner by a team of Health officials in the GRP Lines under the close supervision of the SSP Railways Jammu.
The initiative was taken to promote health awareness among the officers and jawans for leading a healthy live.
“Officers/officials detected with abnormal parameters of weight, blood pressure and blood sugar level were advised further medical check-up at Police Hospital Jammu or elsewhere. General counseling /briefing regarding a disciplined lifestyle for better health and life was also during provided to the jawans/officials by the officers of the GRP Jammu,” a release said.
