JAMMU, July 22: Gaje Singh Pura Welfare Society (GSPWS) urged the Minister, R&B to issue necessary orders for blacktopping of village road.
The meeting expressed concern over the worst condition of the road joining Nagbani School to Gaje Singh Pora village. The members of the society alleged that the road is in shambles, as several years back gravel and sand have been laid on the damaged road for blacktopping but work was abandoned without blacktopping. Now the road has become unworthy for traffic and accident-prone causing inconvenience to the passers by, they added.
The society urged the Minister, R&B and Chief Engineer, R&B to personally intervene into the matter and give necessary instructions to the concerned authorities for blacktopping the road.
