GST in J&K

Sir,
There are some people in Jammu who think that implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) will increase the love between J&K and India. I am not sure about it. But I am sure that GST will certainly increase the flow of money from the pockets of commonman to the Central Govt. and State Govts. as well. Prices of most of the goods shall rise by one percent to six percent.
As a matter of fact, Central Govt. has given us an unusual but quite funny vocabulary in  taxation. Already, we have a Swachh Bharat Cess, Lower Education Cess Higher Education Tax, Krishi Tax and so on. All these tools are to procure money from the consumers and income earners. Now we have GST.
By GST Govt. wants to reduce the burden on common man? If so, then why not first abolish above mentioned taxes and cesses?
Yours etc…
