UDHAMPUR ,June 30 : A meeting of All J&K Gaddi Sippi Tribes Welfare Association (GSTWA) was held here under the chairmanship of its State senior vice- president Parkash Chand to hold elections for Block Unit Udhampur.
The meeting was attended by large number of community members from all over the Block.
The newly elected office bearers included Shokeen Singh as president, Jeet Singh and Hem Raj as vice- presidents, Ashok Kumar as general secretary, Sukesh Kumar as secretary, Vijay Singh as joint secretary and Vijay Kumar as cashier.
A nine- member advisory body was also constituted with Sham Lal as its chairman.
While addressing the meeting, Parkash Chand felicitated the newly elected office bearers and said that GSTWA has already started constituting its units at block and tehsil levels throughout the State in order to strengthen the organisation and broaden its base.
