Guest lecture on ‘Current Research Trends’ at MIER College

JAMMU, Dec 24: Centre for Educational Research at MIER College of Education here today organized a guest lecture on the theme ‘Current Research Trends in Learning Environments’.
The resource person on this occasion was Prof Rekha Koul, from the School of Education, Curtin University, Australia.
Dr. Adit Gupta, Director and Principal MIER College chaired the session.
Dr. N.R Sharma, Dean Academics, Dr. H.R Shan Controller of Examination, Dr. Nishta Rana, Head CER, Dr. Moolraj Sharma HoD PG Department along with the faculty members attended the lecture.
Dr. Adit Gupta, Principal MIER College, extended a welcomed the resource person.
Prof. Koul opened her deliberations highlighting the history of research in learning environments and emphasized the role of the teachers in creating an effective learning environment. She said that the teachers need to be reflective in their teaching pedagogies and the learning environments they create in the teaching learning process.
Dr. Nishta Rana, Head CER presented a formal vote of thanks to the speaker and the audience.
