Guest lectures for MCA students held

JAMMU, Sept 27: Bhaderwah Campus of Jammu University organized series of guest lectures on “Trends in Web Programming”, “Database Connectivity” and “Web Services” for MCA students.
On the occasion, Dr Lalitsen Sharma, Associate Prof, Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu, highlighted the importance of skill development to bridge the gap between education imparted and industry requirements.
He informed the students that plethora of opportunities are available for youth that they can take benefit from.
Dr Sharma discussed in detail “Trends in Web Programming”, “Database Connectivity” and “Web Services” to the students.
He hoped that the lectures would provide tremendous knowledge to the students of Computer Science and IT.
Rector Bhaderwah Campus Prof MA Malik said that such kind of information oriented programmes will be organized at regular intervals to give valuable input to the students, besides upgrading their skill.
Earlier, Sourabh Shastri, incharge Head, MCA Department, Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu presented the welcome address.
During the sessions, Nidhi Sambyal, Preeti Rajput, Muzaffer Hameed, Arshad and Haris were also present.
